Southern Decadence Grand Marshal [SDGM] XXVII, Errol Rizzuto, chose his successors SDGM XXVIII, Thom "Smurf" Murphy & Tony Langlinais, on July 8, 2000. The Southern Decadence XXVIII Coronation was hosted at Footloose, 700 N. Rampart. The new grand marshal's chose Taboo X 2: The Forbidden Pleasures Tour as Official Theme, Man I Feel Like A Woman as Official Song, and Red, Silver and Black as Official Colors.
