Southern Decadence Grand Marshal [SDGM] XXX, "Irish" Mike Sheehan chose his successor, SDGM XXXI - Rusty LaRoux, at the Official Southern Decadence Coronation 2003 on Sat., July 19. The new grand marshal will lead the 32nd Official Southern Decadence celebration with her chosen theme: Carnaval Decadence, colors: vibrant colors of the rainbow and song: La Vida est Un carnaval by the late Queen of Salsa~Celia Cruz. Revelers will now scramble to get their costumes ready for the 2003 extravaganza.
